In April, we did an urban hike in downtown Raleigh that included a visit to the Capitol building

Summer Camp was awesome! We went to Camp Raven Knob in Mount Airy, NC. It was a week-long sleep away camp. Some merit badges our scouts worked on are Pottery, Wilderness Survival, Kayaking, Wood Carving, Environmental Science, and Weather. There were three campfires, Opening, Wednesday Night, and Closing. Twilight activities like waterfront activities and handicrafts were also a lot of fun. We went to Vespers for a couple of nights. A funny thing is that at breakfast the camp only gave us spoons so we had to figure out how to eat without forks. It was interesting.( At lunch and dinner they gave us forks.) Summer Camp was amazing,and we can’t wait for next year!
